About the Park
Twenty kilometres south of the Gold Coast city centre and also only 97 kilometres south of Brisbane is Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Currumbin is world famous for feeding huge flocks of free-ranging rainbow lories. Since opening in 1947, this zoo has housed the largest collection of native species. A reptile house was opened in 2017.
