About the Park
Divided into ten lifelike habitats such as the Rainforest, Barrier Reef and Reptile, the Cairns Aquarium is home to over 15,000 animals. Since 2017, the aquarium has been impressing visitors with its location, as it is only a few metres from the Pacific Ocean beach. See native animals and habitats in tropical North Queensland and learn more about the rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, which is only around 35 kilometres away. In addition to normal daytime admission, night tours are also offered at nightfall.
